My make up collection 2026

Hello everyone!

Happy New Year! I hope it will be a good one and memorable in the best possible way.

As promised, here is the look into my current makeup collection. I have a lot of new, fresh products that I bought last year and now they make for most of my collections. I actually have only 8 products that are older than 2025, so I am excited to dive into this new fresh collection after a long years of panning. I feel like I have really earned this and that I am starting New Year with an exciting collection.

First of all there is an overview of my makeup. I keep it in a drawer in the closet and I like that I can easily see where each product is. I like this setup and I like these little plastic containers that divided the products in groups. Makes me happy just opening the drawer.

I have two powders. I have been using Givenchy for most of the last year and you can see that it is well loved. I have it in the shade 02 satin blanc. In the end of the year I got this Guerlain finishing and setting powder in pearls and I really like it. It is heavily scented, but the finish on the face is quite beautiful. It is even more lightweight that the Hourglass powders, plus it comes in this pretty packaging what is very luxurious looking. I have the shade 02 cool.

I still have Lisa Eldridge skin tint and I am still loving it. I need to use it up this year as it is getting older and I am not wasting a single drop of it. I wear shade T6, but I think also T3 would work well on me. This is my main base product before I dive into this Ilia stick in shade Holly 04. I like it so far as it is very creamy and lightweight, so between these two, I think I am covered for the whole year. (pun intended :))

I have one concealer and I am really happy with it. Armani luminous silk in shade 05. I have been using it since August and I will likely repurchase it once it is gone. It is quite big concealer with 12ml of products, so I expect it to last me for a while. I looks really nice on my skin, both under eyes and on the occasional blemishes.

I went on a bit of a single shadow shopping spree late last year, so here are the 8 ones that are making the core of my single shadow collection. I love every one of these: Chanel in 242 Beige Suede and 222 Jade Facett, Dior in 530 Tulle, Armani cream shadow in the shade 18M, Chantecalle in Seashell and Copper and Sisley in Sparkling Topaz and Glow gold.

I have four eyeliners. Lisa Eldridge in Burnt Umber, which is priority to use up this year as it is getting older. I got three new ones in the shades I thought were interesting. Sweed in Golden Beetle, Soshe in Nights in Bordeaux (plum shade) and Sisley eye twist in the shade Copper. I like all of these, they perform really well and I can see myself using them up along the way.

Two bronzers are the same from the previous years. I love Make up by Mario liquid bronzer. I have it in the shade Fair and it is the best. I also have Victoria Beckham contour stylist in the shade Travertine. I don’t contour too much, but I am always really happy with the outcome when I put this product on.

I have one liquid highlighter and it is actually more than a highlighter as Lisa Eldridge is so good at formulating makeup. I love to use it all over my face under the skin tint for extra glow. I have the shade Crystal nebula and it is a repurchase from couple of years ago. Lovely product.

I have dwindled down my blush collection and I love the phase where I am at. I have two powder blushes: Clinique in Nude pop and Laura Mercier in Ginger. Merit blushes are such a nice formula and I got two best shades for my complexion: Persimmon and Terracotta. I also love Nars and Hauslabs multisticks as they are both meant for eyes, lips and cheeks. Nars is in the shade Sex appeal (you can tell it’s Nars by it’s sexy name) and Haus labs is in the shade Cinnamon. I am covered with these nude, peachy, beige and warm toasty shades for a while now.

I am using Tower 28 mascara and once it goes out of date, at the 6 months mark, I will open up the ELF lash extender. Both of these are brown mascaras.

Same goes for eyebrows. I am using the Merit one. I do like it, but I think the wand is a bit too big for me. The color is nice. Once I use it up, I will open my Benefit brow backup. I have it in the shade 2.5 neutral blond. Fingers crossed that it works for me.

I have two lip pencils. About face in the shade Raw kiss and this is my bolder option. The other one is from Makeup by Mario in the shade Dimitry and this might be my perfect lip liner so far. It is just right, the Goldilocks of the color and the formula: not to dark, not too orange, not too cool…just right.

As for my lipgloss and lipbalm collection, I have three at the moment. Gisou honey infused hydrating lip oil in the shade Sticky Toffee. As you can see, it is well loved and it wil probably be my first empty this year. I have Lancome Butterglow hydrating lip balm in the shade Throwing beige. Really enjoying it. The last one is YSL lip oil stick in the shade 204 Melted honey. I am not sure about the scent of that one, but I do love the color on me.

I have four lipsticks. After enjoying Merit Ginger for a long time, I got a new one in the shade Slip. It is more brown that I have expected, but I love mixing it with Ginger. The formula is really beautiful. I also got Sisley Phyto rouge shine lipstick in the shade 10 Sheer nude. It is sheer and very pretty on the lips. The last one is Lisa Eldridge Rouge experience in the shade Lili. I have this one and a backup of it, so I keep it at our other place, since the component is not really sturdy enough to travel with. Shade is beautiful, especially if you are a soft autumn like me.

I have four eyeshadows palettes. One on the bigger side is from Natasha Denona I need a warm palette. Love it. I have three small palettes. Lisa Eldridge that I have customized and made it my own. Love all the shades, and you can see a big pan in one of the older shades in there. I got Tom Ford Peach Glamour and oh boy, it is beautiful. I love all the colors for my complexion, I love the lasting power and I feel very chic using it. The last one is YSL in the shade 300 Kasbah Spices, when I want something warm and gold. It is beautiful and love using it very much. I have only two single powder shadows and they are both from Colourpop in the shades Gnarly and Tea Garden. So, this amounts to 31 single pans of eyeshadow plus 8 single packaged eye shadows. I have 39 pans to chose from. I am really happy with this selection, collection and numbers. It is still quite a bit, but much more realistic than what I had in the previous years.

Finally, I have two Hourglass palettes. One on the older side is Edit vol 4 and the other one is a new custom quad from the last year. I use the old ones for the finishing powders, bronzer and a highlighter. I don’t use much of those blushes. The new one is nice but I am prioritizing the old one for now to get the most out of it.

My 2026 collection at this moment consists of 46 products and 3 backups. It is the smallest I had in years, but somehow feel the most rounded and most exciting since I know my preferences, I prioritize quality over quantity and making sure I am not putting old products on my face. I am also keeping track of the usage of the products this year. I have started tracking it in the last few months and I am getting in the habit of noting down the times I have used products. It will be fun to see how this year consumption goes. I don’t see myself wanting anything new and I am hoping to resist temptations of new launches and unnecessary spending, since I have such a nice fresh and exciting collection now.

Hope your New Year have started in the best possible way and it keeps on going in the direction you want!

Talk to you soon!

XOXO,

Iva
